Looking around for something completely different (Rails, more on that in a later post) I came across some info on TextMate. The official site doesn’t really have any concrete info yet (all there is is a notification list signup).
But Load Thinking has an interesting blog entry on it, along with some videos.
I got seven days left on my BBEdit 8 demo, and I’m sad to say that apart from the documents drawer (which I find really useful though), I don’t feel that there is enough to makes me want to upgrade, maybe I just had hoped for more than a natural evolution of BBEdit 8.
The little info I’ve found on TextMate is enough to make me exited (it doesn’t take much really) so I hope to see a beta release very soon!
